Jagan Earns Respect By Accepting The Defeat!
YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy proved that he is something else in this aspect.
Everyone will enjoy success. But withstanding a strong defeat is not everyone’s cup of tea. On top of this, no one likes to be with the losers. Moreover, the chances of political leaders and parties telling the reason for the defeat to people are very low. YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy proved that he is something else in this aspect.
It is known that the YCP recorded a poor performance in the recently announced Andhra Pradesh election results. No one would have predicted that such a thing would happen. Even the TDP alliance might have not predicted such a big win. It is not easy to come out and react to a big defeat.
When the ruling BRS lost the elections in Telangana six months back the party chief KCR did not come out taking the responsibility and talking about the defeat. KCR was in power for ten years and despite this, he did not come out after the defeat. But Jagan behaved differently. Hours after the results, he came out and responded to the defeat. Many say that he behaved respectably in this.
Jagan said that the results appeared as a surprise to him. He also said that fighting as an opposition is not new to him. He dubbed the ruling party as a strong alliance that could dictate terms to Delhi too. “ We can say someone cheated us and someone did injustice. But there is no evidence for this. God knows what happened. We are accepting the public opinion and will fight for them. Congratulations to the new government. No matter what happened they could not decrease our 40 percent vote bank. Barring five years I spent most of my time in opposition. I faced many struggles in political life like no one else did. I am ready to face even big problems. All the very best for the winners,” Jagan said, which is earning respect.
Not just that he also won many hearts with this. People are appreciating Jagan for behaving like a responsible politician during a big defeat. Many say that Jagan displayed political maturity which even KCR did not.
