Four and a half years in office Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy already created his legacy as a leader. It will not be an exaggeration to say YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been implementing the reforms and welfare schemes like no other leader does. His decisions as the CM made him close to every family in the state.
The infrastructure push his government gave changed the face of the state-run schools. Not only the facilities were improved but the students were given an opportunity to attend global events and show the world what the state has been doing.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's ruling earned a big recognition as Andhra Pradesh was ranked third in the Skoch Awards. In the prestigious Skoch State Of Governance Report-2023 Andhra Pradesh was ranked third. Considering various aspects the list was prepared.
To give an example of the prominence of the awards. No other Southern state was in the top five except for Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh improved its ranking by one rank. Last year Andhra Pradesh stood at the fourth position and now AP was ranked the third.
In Parameters like Governance, Social Inclusion Andhra Pradesh is at the top. As the state improved its ranking it was named as one of the star states in the country that excelled in various aspects.
What played a big role in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's ruling is that he took the welfare schemes to the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. They need not stand in long queues to get the ration. Not just ration, beneficiaries will also get the pension at their doorstep. Volunteers go to their houses and hand over the amount they get.
The efforts YS Jagan Mohan Reddy put in resulted in his work getting noticed. The state was ranked third on the list.
Looking at the other well-performing states Odisha is at the top. Uttar Pradesh is at the second position followed by Andhra Pradesh(3),Maharashtra(4), Gujarat(5),Tamil Nadu(6),West Bengal(7),Kerala(8),Bihar(9) and Madhya Pradesh(10).
