Jagan Had The Idea Of Going To Himalayas After Results?
Amid this, shocking news had come out which said that Jagan wanted to go to the Himalayas after looking at the results.
YCP can be seen as an example of what overconfidence can do. The party entered the elections with a near-impossible target of winning the Assembly seats. If this happens then there will be no opposition in the state. In the last elections, YCP won 151 seats and it wanted to push the number to 175.
Forget about winning even the half number of seats it won in 2019, the party suffered a massive shock. The party won 11 seats and it doesn't even have the opposition party status. The party is busy knowing the reasons behind the defeat and meeting leaders regularly.
Amid this, shocking news had come out which said that Jagan wanted to go to the Himalayas after looking at the results. During a meeting with the party leaders he made these comments, say reports.
Addressing the leaders Jagan reportedly said that he was shocked looking at the results and took time to digest. Talking about the welfare they did, Jagan said despite this the part lost and he took three days to become normal.
Looking at the results Jagan wanted to go to the Himalayas. However, he changed his mind by looking at the vote percentage. Despite the big defeat, YCP attracted 40 percent of votes which is a big number. Looking at this Jagan changed his mind.
Even after the results were out Jagan expressed his shock and asked how this happened. He asked what happened to the love from elderly people and the beneficiaries of various schemes.
Now he told the leaders that he wanted to move to the Himalayas leaving everything. But he decided to stay looking at the support people gave with 40 percent votes.
