Janasena Announces Another Candidate, Sixth One So Far!
There is a lot of suspense on who would be the candidates for the other seats.
It is known that TDP and Janasena, the allies in Andhra Pradesh announced candidates for the elections. The first list of candidates was issued already. Out of 24 seats, Janasena announced candidates for just 5 seats. There is a lot of suspense on who would be the candidates for the other seats.
Now Janasena announced a candidate from another seat taking the count to six. Janasena announced Kandula Durgesh, Jana Sena Party President in East Godavari district as the Nidadavolu candidate. In a release, the party announced the candidate.
The big announcement came from the party days after Kandula Durgesh said he was asked by the party to move to Nidadavolu and he will follow the orders. Speaking to the party leaders he made the big announcement. Now the party announced his candidacy.
It is known that earlier it was reported that TDP and Janasena candidates were adamant about the Rajahmundry Rural seat. Both Sitting MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and Kandula Durgesh who contested the last elections pinned high hopes on the seat. As Janasena’s graph increased, many felt that Kandula Durgesh might get the ticket.
But Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary sounded so confident and taking to social media he said that he would get the ticket without any doubt. This raised many doubts about who would get the ticket.
Political observers say that this is the reason why neither TDP nor Janasena announced a candidate from the seat to see that no internal fight takes place. Gorantla is a sitting MLA and he won consecutive elections. With this, Kandula Durgesh was asked to move to another seat.
As the party leader said yes to this he was announced as the candidate for the Nidadavolu seat. With this, he would shift his focus onto the seat and work hard with the local leaders. As Kandula Durgesh got a seat it appears that there is no issue for Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary from the Rajahmundry Rural constituency.
