Newly elected Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy had kickstarted big political controversy by making big allegations against former Chief Minister KCR. Addressing the media after the Praja Palana program, Revanth claimed that the previous government brought many vehicles.

He claimed that KCR was so confident of winning the elections that he bought 22 land cruiser vehicles and kept them in Vijayawada. A few media houses reported that the vehicles Revanth Reddy was talking about were found in Vijayawada which are going through upgradations of security features. A big debate has been going on about the cost of these vehicles and what is the need of having such high-tech vehicles.

Amid this, BRS leader Kadiyam Srihari responded to the row and admitted that the cars were purchased. He said that the cars were purchased after the Cabinet approval and asked what was wrong with this. Adding further he said that the vehicles were purchased for the state and not for KCR's personal use.

The senior leader asked if there was any corruption in the vehicle purchase. Saying that the cars were purchased for the state. What's wrong with this, The vehicles were purchased for the state.

Talking about the vehicles' stay in Vijayawada. Kariyam Srihari said that they went sent for a bulletproofing process and said that sending vehicles to Vijayawada for the process is not new and has been followed for a long time.

Days after the controversy started with the Chief Minister making serious claims, the BRS leader responded to the allegations and said that what happened has happened with the approval of th Cabinet and there was no corruption in the process.

On the same occasion, he asked the Congress about the six guarantees. He alleged that the party is just killing time and said that the party had no money to fulfill the tall promises it made. We would not sit silent if the ruling party forgets the guarantees and makes such allegations.
