It is known that Thulasendhrapuram is the native village of Kamala Harris' grandparents. In the wake of reports over Kamala possibly running the elections posters were set up in the village outside a temple. It is said that Kamala Harris and her grandfather earlier donated to the temple.
Not just setting up posters, special prayers were offered and Prasadam was distributed to the locals, say reports. The villagers are happy with where Kamala Harris stands now and they are extending their wishes.
As of now, we don't have any clarity on whether Kamala Harris will be the presidential candidate or not as the party did not make any formal announcement. But the locals are confident of her candidacy as they set up the posters.
