As per the reports, a few members from the Sikh community met Telangana Government adviser Mohammad Ali Shabbir. It is said that during the meeting they raised their objections over the film and sought to ban the film's screening.
The members are said to be of the view that the Sikh community was shown in a bad light and their portrayal might not be in a good way. Having raised the objections they reportedly want the screening to be banned.
Reports say that the Telangana government is reportedly looking at banning the film in the state. If this happens then it would be a big blow to the MP. Bollywood films get a good reception in Hyderabad and other parts of the state and banning the film would be a huge blow. While there is no official confirmation on this, media reports say the same.
