Delhi Liquor Case: It's A Shock For Kavitha!

It is known that former CM KCR’s daughter KCR is in custody in connection with the Delhi liquor scam. She has been trying to get an interim bail. Earlier last week, the court reserved its verdict and said that the judgment will be given on Monday. With this, all eyes were on the court.

D-day arrived today. However, the day gave a big shock to Kavitha. The court said no to the interim bail. This can be seen as a big blow to the former Minister in the case which is sensational now.

Kavitha moved the Rouse Avenue court seeking bail till the 16th of this month saying that her son is having exams. The Court heard the arguments of both sides and reserved the judgment. Putting an end to the suspense, the court gave the orders.

The court said no to the request. The media reports say that the judge who dealt with the petition quashed it giving no relief to the BRS chief’s daughter.

Earlier Kavitha’s lawyers told the court that Kavitha’s son is having exams and he needs her support as the mother. Highlighting the same, the counsel sought interim bail for Kavitha in the case.

On the other hand, the ED countered these claims and said that Kvaitha could not be given bail in the case as she might influence the witnesses in the case. ED is also believed to have said that Kavitha threatened a person who became approver in the case.

With the court saying no to the bail the focus is now on the 20th of this month. A special court will hear the plea. We have to wait and see what the court will say and whether she will get bail or not.
