In a few weeks, the poll-bound Telangana state will go for much-awaited general elections. Following this, the political parties are holding meetings and programs to impress the voters in the state. Be it the ruling party or the opposition parties, the same is the situation.

Compared to others, the ruling BRS is a few steps ahead and the party is holding meetings. Chief Minister KCR is on a spree of holding public meetings and one such meeting was held at Sathupalli today. The BRS boss gave an aggressive speech addressing the gathering.

While campaigning for the party, the Chief Minister made sharp comments on the bad condition of the roads in the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister's comments went viral and are now doing rounds.

Drawing a comparison between the roads of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, CM KCR said that if a double road comes then it is Telangana, and if it's a single road then it is Andhra Pradesh.

"There is no need for me to talk about the development. You(people) are close to the state from which were were bifurcated. The roads here and there are an example. You daily travel on these roads. If double roads come then it is Telaganna and if single road comes then it is Andhra Pradesh," KCR said.

"They doubted if we could sustain after state bifurcation and asked if we could live. They asked if we could rule. But now they are coming here to spell the crops. We are giving payments which will be credited to bank accounts directly. But they are coming here. Last Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy showed what would happen if the state is divided. But we proved them wrong," he added.
