One Week and running: Lokesh achieves nothing from Delhi tour
So, Lokesh is unable to secure an appointment with any key BJP leader so far.
Chandrababu Naidu’s son and TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has drawn a zilch despite staying put in Delhi for the past five days. He has not been able to meet any leader of consequence from the BJP. He has been trying to secure an appointment with some important BJP leader but to no avail.
Ever since Naidu’s arrest, Lokesh Babu has camped in Delhi. His task is three-fold. He wants the TDP MPs to raise the issue of Chandrababu’s arrest in Lok Sabha . Then he wants to build a favourable opinion about Chandrababu in North India’s media – both print and electronic. Thirdly, he wants to prod the BJP to help bail out Chandrababu.
Though he has managed the first two, Lokesh has singularly failed to move the BJP. The BJP is currently busy with the special session of Parliament and all its energies are focused on it. So, Lokesh is unable to secure an appointment with any key BJP leader so far.
Lokesh has already spent five days and achieved precious little. At this rate, he may likely spend time till week-end in Delhi to get appointments with the BJP leaders. Staying out of Andhra Pradesh for such a long time and leaving the party affairs to mother Bhuvaneswari and wife Nara Brahmani are being questioned by the political pundits, who feel that Lokesh should lead from the front by staying in Andhra Pradesh.
