Big Statement From Lokesh: Pawan Wins Pithapuram Without Help!
There is no doubt in saying Pithapuram became a sensation in Andhra Pradesh in the wake of the elections.
There is no doubt in saying Pithapuram became a sensation in Andhra Pradesh in the wake of the elections. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan announcing his candidacy from the constituency is the reason for this. Putting an end to the long suspense he announced that he will contest the elections from there.
With this, the ruling YSRCP announced Vanga Geetha as the candidate. After considering various aspects the party went with the sitting MP who earlier won as the MLA from there. The political heat gripped the constituency as Pawan Kalyan has been saying that he should win the seat with a one lakh margin.
The Janasena chief already started his campaign. He received a grand welcome in the constituency. As part of his Pithapuram visit Pawan Kalyan met TDP leader SVSN Varma and his family. Varma is an aspirant for the seat. But things changed with Pawan announcing his seat.
As the opposition parties came under one roof for alliance there is a talk that the TDP leaders might be roped in to campaign for him. Many felt that the joint meetings might be held in Pithapuram as well to boost Pawan Kalyan's winning chances.
But TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh gave an unexpected answer. When asked about whether he would campaign along with Pawan Kalyan, the former Minister said that he is not at a level to campaign for Pawan. But what caught everyone’s attention is that Lokesh said Pawan can win simply without anyone’s help.
Nara Lokesh is busy campaigning in his Mangalagiri seat. During the same, he was asked about campaigning with the Jana Sena chief. To this, he said that Pawan Kalyan simply wins the seat without anyone’s help. His response is grabbing everyone’s attention.
If we look at the positive aspects of Pawan in the seat caste equation is the major one as the Kapu population is very significant there. TDP cadre is very active in Pithapuram which is now working for the Janasena chief. His charisma is another thing that attracts big crowds for the meeting. If the crowds can be converted into votes then Pithapuram would belong to Pawan Kalyan.
