High Alert: Major Dam's Gate Washed Away In A Mishap!

In a shocking turn of events the dam’s gate was washed away due to the floodwaters in flow. It is said that the chain link was broken which triggered the gate to be washed away. The officials swung into action and lifted the gates up to 20 feet.
Going into details the Tungabhadra Dam in Karnataka suffered a big damage as the door was washed away. It is said that one lakh cusecs of water was released already by the authorities and 60 TMC water might be wasted as all the gates were lifted reportedly.
This is a big concern to the people living in low-lying areas due to the release of water in big numbers. The authorities urged people to be cautious and alert.
