Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu is a known face. He is regarded as one of the tallest politicians in the country now. He has good ties with other Chief Ministers and national leaders. It is known that he was arrested last week in connection with an alleged scam by the previous government.

Putting an end to the long wait, a national leader finally reacted to Chandrababu Naidu's arrest. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave her reaction and said that the arrest appeared vendetta and such politics are not advisable.
Adding further, the Chief Minister went on to say that the way Chandrababu Naidu was arrested appears not good, and if there are any irregularities then a fair investigation should be launched into this.
She is the first big leader to respond to his arrest and few others are expected to join the list and react to the arrest of the Telugu Desam Party boss.
It is known that earlier West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee levelled serious allegations against the TDP supremo. She alleged that a proposal was made to her by the government on the Pegasus spyware. Her comments created a political sensation in Andhra Pradesh and started a war of words.
