It is known that the murder case of a car driver who worked with the MLC created a big sensation and uproar in state politics. On top of this, the victim is from the Dalit community, and many organizations hit the roads demanding justice.

The case is in the news with the fight of the victim's parents to see that the case is given to the CBI. The court heard arguments in the case and reserved its judgement after lawyers from both sides placed their arguments. Now we have to wait and see what the Court would say in the verdict.

During the arguments, the bench of the High Court is said to have raised a few questions and served notices to the cops to file more information on this. It is said that the Bench asked why the directives of the single-judge bench were not followed.

Media reports said that the bench expressed dissatisfaction with the investigation as the details of people in the CCTV were not found yet and asked why this was not done despite orders from the single judge bench.

Talking about the details in the case, the bench is said to have asked how they concluded that people who appeared in CCTV footage had no role in this and asked why the details were not mentioned in the additional charge sheet.

The lawyer, who represented the victim's parents in the case, submitted key details in the case in a sealed cover and the alleged cover is carrying a lot of buzz to see what information it has.

Keeping the suspense in the issue intact, the verdict was reserved and we have to wait and see what the court will decide on the matter. If the case is transferred to the CBI then it is a big development.

The case goes back to May last year, when MLC Anantha Babu was arrested on the charges of brutally killing his ex-driver and handing over his body to the family. The MLC was arrested and got a big relief as the Supreme Court granted him bail. After the High Court and lower court denied the bail, he moved the Supreme Court.
