The Northeastern state of Manipur has been burning for the past few months with violence. The state is in high tension and many heart-wrenching incidents are coming out. Recently, a disgusting incident was reported. On top of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence is raising many concerns.

To make the Prime Minister speak on this, the Congress party moved the no-confidence motion. Though the BJP can defeat the motion due to its strength, the opposition parties will have a moral win on this as they can target the BJP on the issue. We have seen this in the Parliament House.

But the BJP faced a big blow, with an ally party backing the no-confidence motion. As per the media reports, Lok Sabha MP C Lalrosanga, who is from the Mizo National Front (MNF), the ruling party in Mizoram, another Northeast state is said to be backing the motion.

Reports say that the MP will support the no-confidence motion and he already received the green signal from the party chief. The MP said that the Mizo National Front (MNF) is not happy with what has been happening with the state for the past few months and with this, the party wants to support the motion.

What has been happening in Manipur is not good and the government failed to deal with this. With this, the party wants to support the motion. We don't want to support the Congress and oppose the BJP. But we want to raise our voice against this, the MP was quoted as saying.

Keeping aside the impact of the vote of the MP on the no-confidence motion, this is an example of the image the BJP has now. Ally party supporting the move against the Centre will give a big weapon to the opposition parties that even the BJP’s ally parties are not happy with.

The Lok Sabha elections are next year and the no-confidence motion is expected to play a significant role in shaping the voters mind slightly. Now an ally party which is in power along with the Bharatiya Janata Party in Mizoram is backing the motion.
