Did YCP MP's Luck Drain Quickly?

He was a police officer in the past and is known for his aggression in his profession. Having liked this, the YCP leadership gave him a big offer. We are talking about Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav here. Before the 2019 polls, he resigned from his job and joined the YCP. He won the seat. Hindupur is seen as the strong zone of the TDP. There, he won as an MP.

However, a debate is going on about whether the MP did not make the best out of his luck. It is said that his aggressive nature made a negative impact and put his political future in question. Many wonder if his political future will end as a one-time MP.

MP Madhav's video went viral which had not only shaken the state politics but also created a sensation at the Delhi level. The party faced issues on how to deal with the issue. Many say that the trust the party leadership had in him might have been lost.

On the other hand, the YCP is doing consecutive surveys in the Hindupur Parliament segment. Reports say that the MP is getting a negative image in these surveys. Even if he gets a ticket, he might lose. Observers say we have to see if Gorantla Madhav would be accommodated with an MLA seat if not an MP seat as he is from the Kuruba community.

His followers say that Madhav might get a ticket for the Assembly seat in Kurnool where the Kuruba community has a big population. It is said that the party leadership is not interested in giving him an MP seat. Former Anantapur Minister Shankar Narayana who hails from the same community might be fielded here.

YCP is reportedly thinking of Shankar Narayana as the right candidate who won the Penugonda elections in 2019. A debate is going on about whether Gorantla Madhav's luck drained. If he won't get at least an MLA seat then his political future would be in question. Many say that, due to controversies, he is unable to focus on the party or the seat. We have to wait and see as many say that Gorantla's political future is a big question.
