Macherla EVM issue: This Is What AP EC CEO Has to Say!

The polling episode in Andhra Pradesh ended on a high note with a record polling percentage compared to previous elections. On top of this, a few incidents kept the flame burning. The EVM row in Macharla came as a big shock and people are still talking about the incident.

As ruling Party MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is facing allegations in the case the issue is getting all the attention. A lookout notice was also issued against the MLA. AP Government advisor Sajjala also entered the scene in the case.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy raised a few questions on the issue and asked why only one video is doing rounds when the Election Commission said seven such issues came to light. Sajjala even asked how the video was leaked and if only one video was leaked.

AP EC CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena reacted to the issue and is believed to have said that it was not them who released the video and they would look into the issue to know how it happened.

Adding further, he said that Palvai gate PO and APO were suspended in the case due to their failure to report the case. CEO said that the investigation is going on from various angles and that further information will be announced. The CEO said that eight teams including SP and DSP are working to arrest the YCP MLA.
