Is TDP-JSP Dragging Prof Nageshwar Issue Too Much?
This created a political storm and Andhra Pradesh, and there was a lot of negativity on this matter from Janasena supporters and TDP activists.
It is already known that something extraordinary happened in Andhra Pradesh politics after senior journalist, Nageshwar Rao made a wild allegation against the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan.
It was publicly commented by Nageshwar Rao on live television that Pawan Kalyan had recently approached Union home Minister Amit Shah to arrest Jagan, which was rejected by Amit Shah.
This created a political storm and Andhra Pradesh, and there was a lot of negativity on this matter from Janasena supporters and TDP activists.
However, the latest development are suggesting that a police case has been filed against Nageshwar Rao for making such comments on the deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. There is every chance that he might face the Police consequences for his commentary on live TV debate.
At a fundamental level, this cannot go well into the public as filing a police complaint on a journalist for presenting a piece of information is never a good practice in democracy. More importantly, a lot more restraint is expected from revolutionary politician like Pawan Kalyan as simple media reports should not temper his reputation.
Nageshwar Rao has even publicly commented that he was misinformed about this, and said he is taking back every single word that he said about Kalyan wanting to arrest Jagan. But nevertheless, the government appears to be adamant about taking action on him.
