What Is NACIN? That Will be Inaugurated By PM Modi?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Andhra Pradesh yet again. As part of the visit, Narendra Modi would tour Gorantla in the Anantapur district. He will inaugurate the NACIN academy. On this occasion let us get into the details of the specialities of the academy and the special identity it brings to Andhra Pradesh.
As part of establishing academics for the Central services under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, the NACIN academy is set up in Andhra Pradesh. NACIN stands for National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics. It is built near Palasamudram in Gorantla Mandal in the undivided Anantapur district which now comes under the Sri Sathyasai District. Located near Highway 44 it is spread across 503 acres.
It takes just one hour to reach the academy from the Bengaluru Airport. Built with international standards, the academy was constructed with all the security. NACIN will serve on par with Mussoorie Institute for IAS officers and Hyderabad Institute for IPS officers as it is meant to offer a world-class training institute for IRS officers. A solar system was set up in the academy premises.
As part of the training, the required plane was brought there. A special railway line is being constructed for NACIN. A Kendriya Vidyalaya was allocated for the studies of the children of the staff. The Revenue Department identified the required land for the Kendriya Vidyalaya construction. An ESI hospital will also be set up. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the academy today. Massive arrangements were made and security was deployed.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending the event, Andhra Pradesh Governor S. A. Nazeer, Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, a few Ministers, and public representtaives will be present on the occasion. The foundation stone for the academy was laid in 2015 in the presence of the then-Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, and Sujana Chowdary. Now the academy is slated for inauguration today(January 26).
