India's Foreign Ministry Shocked By Qatar's Decision!

In a shocking turn of events, as many as eight former Indian Navy officers were scented to death by a Qatar court.

Compared to other nations, Middle Eastern nations have strong laws and wrongdoings attract big punishments. It is no wonder that the nations have low crime rates and they rank high among the safest nations in the world. The decision to impose a strict punishment had shocked India.


In a shocking turn of events, as many as eight former Indian Navy officers were scented to death by a Qatar court. On serious allegations, they were slapped with the death sentence. It is said that they were kept in prison for some time. Now the verdict was given.

The eight officers who worked with the Indian Navy are said to have worked with a private company that provides services to Qatar's armed forces. They were arrested and sent to jail in 2022 and since then they have been kept in jail.

Since the arrest the accused tried to get a bail by filing a few petitions. However, the petitions did not give a relief. Their petitions are not just rejected but also their detention was extended by the courts. Now the verdict is said to have been announced.

Following the verdict, the foreign minister reacted to the development and said that they were shocked by this. Having said that the Ministry maintained it will take up the matter with Qatari authorities. In a press release, the Ministry said that it is in touch with the families and is exploring the legal options.

"We are deeply shocked by the verdict of death penalty and are awaiting the detailed judgement. We are in touch with the family members and the legal team, and we are exploring all legal options," the foreign ministry said.
