Objectionable Posts On Lady Judge;Rashtrapati Bhavan Angry!
Seeing this, a senior advocate had moved the President highlighting the trolling and posts on the lady judge.
Telugu Desam Party chief faced a big shock by getting arrested in the AP Skill Development scam. All the efforts he put in to get relief in the case went in vain. His remand period was extended and he was given for the custody of CID, which is probing the case.
However, the issue took a big twist with the ACB Court judge Himabindu becoming a target for immense social media trolls. It is said that a few are targeting her in the form of posts and comments on social media. The frustration of Chandrbabu's arrest became an attack on the judge reportedly.
Seeing this, a senior advocate had moved the President highlighting the trolling and posts on the lady judge. Given the seriousness of the matter, the Rashtrapati Bhavan secretary had written to Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K S Jawahar Reddy to deal with such positions with an iron fist.
With the Chief Secretary getting the orders from the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s secretary, a tab will be put on the social media posts against the judge and those who made the posts might face the heat and strict action.
The trend of making derogatory posts against the judiciary and judges is not good and will send a wrong message. With the Chief Secretary stepping in, the posts might be monitored and who made the posts are in a danger zone.
This is not a new thing in Andhra Pradesh. This happened in the state earlier. Not happy with the trend of objectionable comments against the judges and judiciary, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh earlier directed the CBI to look into this. A few people were arrested already.
