It is known that former Cabinet Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao pinned high hopes on the seat. However, luck did not shine in his favor and he was not picked. He recently said that he would contest the elections for sure.

YS Sharmila, who is trying her luck in Telangana politics is also interested in the seat and she openly said that she will start her electoral politics with the seat and she is hopeful of winning the seat. As reports say that her party would be merged into Congress, Sharmila is likely to get this ticket as a condition.

Well, the list of giants who are reportedly eyeing Paleru's seat is not over. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy who recently dived into the Congress from BRS due to various issues is also showing interest in the seat. We have to wait and see who among the three giants would get the upper hand.
