Will Pawan-Babu alliance work on the ground?

Pawan Kalyan’s unexpected announcement of total support to Chandrababu Naidu and an alliance with the TDP has thrown several Jana Sena leaders into a tizzy. Many of those who have spent considerable sums to nurture their constituencies hoping that they would contest the elections, are now in a quandary.
Now that an alliance is a certainty, there are questions as to how many seats the Jana Sena will get. Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu may give no more than 25 seats to the Jana Sena. Of these seats, there is every likelihood of TDP rebels being given tickets by Naidu. This will lead to ‘friendly’ contests, which would be a major problem for the Jana Sena.
In addition, Chandrababu might pump in his henchmen into the Jana Sena and get them seats. These leaders, even if they get elected on Jana Sena ticket, will be loyal to the TDP. Thus, the TDP can wreck the Jana Sena as and when it wants. This is an old tried and tested formula of Chandrababu Naidu.
If there is an alliance with the TDP, only top leaders will get the tickets and the rest of the party workers who have toiled all these days, will be left in the lurch. This could also lead to dissidence and some Jana Sena leaders could even emerge as rebel candidates. This could affect the alliance badly, feel political pundits.
