Pawan Kalyan Locked An Assembly Seat To Contest?
Now it is said that Pawan Kalyan locked his contesting seat. It has been widely reported that Pawan Kalyan would contest the Kakinada City seat in the elections.
Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan is adamant about changing the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh. He wants to defeat the YSRCP and he is saying he wants a better state. He is not shying away from joining hands with other parties. Pawan Kalyan joined hands with the BJP after the 2019 defeat.
However, he gave a new twist to the political landscape in the state by announcing an alliance with TDP. After Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, Pawan Kalyan announced that both parties would go to elections together. The parties are working on how to go to elections together.
The Janasena chief also has an aim which is to show his power in elections. He contested the 2019 polls and lost both seats. His election loss became a big weapon for his opponents. They still use the same to taunt him.
Now it is said that Pawan Kalyan locked his contesting seat. It has been widely reported that Pawan Kalyan would contest the Kakinada City seat in the elections. The surveys are also in favour of him in the seat.

In the 2019 elections, he lost the two seats he contested and hence he wanted to go for a new place. With the surveys being in his favour he picked Kakinada City as his constituency. We might hear official news on this from the party if everything goes well.
By picking the seat, Pawan can also answer the dare thrown by Kakinada City's sitting MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy. Earlier he dared Pawan Kalyan to contest against him in the seat. Pawan fans did not like this and they wanted him to give a big answer to the MLA's dare. Let us wait and see what happens next.
