Earlier the TDP said it would increase the pension amount for beneficiaries under the Pension Panduga. This is truly a festival for the beneficiaries as they will get Rs 7000 this month. The pension distribution program is held across the state and the leaders took part in the big occasion.
During the occasion, Pawan Kalyan made crucial comments. He said that earlier he wanted to take a salary as a legislator. But he changed his mind seeing that there is no money in the department. The situation is such that there is no money and a lot of work should be done on salaries and DAs. Hence I took the decision, he said.
After I got to know there are debts of thousands of crores in the department I decided to not take the salary. I decided to do this for this land and our people. Earlier I said I would take the salary. But I changed my decision, he said.
What he said is getting a good response as people are saying he set a good example as a legislator. As part of addressing the debt pressure, he decided to not take the salary.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan took part in the pension distribution program in Kakinada’s Gollaprolu. Addressing the gathering he said that they will function with accountability. I won't say I would do a wonder. But I will work with accountability, he said.
The Janasena chief said that he is working hard to look into the departments and issues as he was allocated crucial departments. I am reviewing the departments to get an idea of debts by spending hours together. I don't want any name and I want to serve the people and put in the best efforts to address the issues faced by the people, he added.
