It is already known that the prices of essential commodities like fuel and gas have been going up consistently for the last few months, and this was due to the conflict between Iran and the US. But now that certain peace agreements are in place, the prices are starting to go down. In accordance with this, even India has started to witness a decrease in LPG gas and petrol supply prices.

Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹174 to ₹183.50 from July 1, bringing relief to restaurants, hotels, and other commercial users.

However, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders, offering no relief to household consumers. This is a positive sign for commercial gas users, but there is nothing satisfactory yet for domestic LPG supply as the prices are unchanged.

On a related note, we have a significant piece of information regarding the petrol and diesel prices as private company Nayara has reduced the fuel prices today.

Nayara Energy, India’s largest private fuel retailer, on Wednesday, July 1, cut petrol prices by Rs 5 per litre and diesel by Rs 3 a litre across its nationwide network, marking the first reduction in retail fuel prices by any company in more than two years.

But this decision has not yet been implemented by conventional bighead like Hindustan petroleum, Indian oil and Bharat petroleum. This is where the larger section of the consumer base is.
