The shocking thing here is that Andhra Pradesh, Telangana happened to be facing the biggest crisis due to the elevated prices.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana happened to be paying the highest price for petrol anywhere in India, and this is particularly detrimental, considering that the neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka pay much lesser.
This is going to have a significant impact on the public reaction on the existing state governments and there could be a lot of debate happening on this matter now.
At this rate, it should not be too long before Andhra Pradesh registers the highest unprecedented rate for petrol at around ₹120 per litre.
