AI Is Threat To Humanity? What Did The Pope Say?
Pope Leo XIV is asked if he is worried are you that AI could pose catastrophic risks to humanity or even wipe it out entirely.
It is already known that several tech technological experts and AI engineers have been pointing out that the advancement of artificial intelligence could pose a significant threat to humanity.
This question was brought up in front of the pope, and he had very interesting reaction to the same. He pointed out that there are certain questions that are being raised on this matter, but he is not too concerned for now.

In his reaction to this interesting question about AI potentially wiping up humanity, the pope said"If someone were to ask me, am I in panic mode? No, I'm not. I sleep at night. I do think that the concerns raised by many of the experts, specialists in AI, should be taken seriously.”
The pop added that he doesn’t think that is fake news, as some have said, to try and cause whether financial or some other kind of benefit.
It's interesting to note that just today I read that the head of NVIDIA claims that he has found some way of inserting into AI certain guardrails, if you will, or limits so that they won't go outside of their particular units and cause the damage that people are talking about, he commented.
According to the pope, it is a fact that certain questions are being by raised about the safety of the humanity due to the ongoing AI revolution, but there are certain safety parameters that can be followed.
This constant discussion about the possibility of artificial intelligence, potentially wiping out the humanity race has now reached the pope, and he had a conservatory reaction. Only time will tell if AI will be able to post a significant threat to the human race as a whole.
