Posani Promises Transparency In Nandi Awards!

When Andhra Pradesh was combined an initiative was started to grant awards to recognize the talent of actors, technicians, and writers. In the name of Nandi, the awards have been issued for a few decades. A formal ceremony would be held by the state government for the annual awards.

However, the Nandi Awards have not been issued for a few years due to various reasons. People raising objections due to alleged favoritism kickstarted a big row. We have seen how Posani Krishna Murali made objectionable comments. He even said that certain people were favored in the awards and even took the names of the castes.

It is known that Posani Krishna Murali is serving as the AP Film Development Corporation Chairman currently. He made some critical comments on the Nandi Awards. He said that no political interference would be there in picking the names.

“Only the worthy would get the awards. No one would face injustice. The eligible actors would be respected by identifying them. There would be no political interference in the elections. There would be a transparency in the process. CM Jagan gave me a big responsibility. We would hold the ceremony prestigiously,” Posani said.

With Posani Krishna Murali saying that no interference would be there, we have to see how the nominees are picked for the awards and who would get the awards.

Posani Krishna Murali went on to say that the Chief Minister gave him a big responsibility in the form of the awards and the process of picking the candidates and he would make sure that no issues take place. He also said that the Chief Minister gave him the liberty to select people who would be in the committee.
