Siddham Vs Praja Galam!

The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh started the Siddham campaign and the meetings are held under the same name. It is confident that the campaign would work. Talking about Telugu Desam Party, it started many campaigns. But none of them worked except for Badude Badudu. Idem Karma Mana Rastraniki failed to get a good reception.

Chandrababu Naidu held meetings across the state in the name of Raa Kadali Ra. Nara Lokesh held a Padayatra named Yuvagalam. He is now busy touring districts with Sankharavam. The joint meeting of Narendra Modi, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan was named Prajagalam. It is said that TDP will conduct the meetings till the elections under the same name.

Talking about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy he held four big Siddham meetings in different regions. It is said that the majority of areas were covered by the meetings. The meetings were successful as people were mobilised from 40 to 50 constituencies.

Being a ruling party did not face any issues in mobilizing the crowds and people also showed interest in attending these meetings. From the YSRCP’s point of view, the funds were spent on various schemes and areas. It is said that the MLA contestants did not face any burden of expenses for these meetings. There is a talk that Rs 12000 was given for each bus for the meetings.

It was earlier reported that the manifesto would be announced in the last meeting which resulted in big crowds in attendance. It was also reported that crop loan waiver would be implemented and Dwakra loan waiver might also be announced. Many say that the crowds expected to hear the manifesto but felt bad for this. But this did not stop them from making the meeting a success.

The TDP is going to the public in the name of Praja Galam. There is an opinion that Praja Galam is not sounding powerful enough. When YCP is saying it is Siddham it sounds like it is throwing a challenge. But the same is not the case with the TDP, say many.

The first Praja Galam meeting saw good grounds. But the maintenance is bad as a few mics developed issues. This can be cited as a failure slightly. However, the alliance was successful in gathering big crowds.

While Siddham sounds strong, Praja Galam sounds pretty ordinary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the center of attraction at the meeting. He is touted to become the PM one more time. As the head of the alliance, people expected that he would announce something for the state, but in vain.

In his speech, Narendra Modi did not praise Chandrababu and his ruling in the last term. Many say that Modi did not appeal to the people to vote for the alliance to make Chandrababu Naidu the Chief Minister. What was lacking in the meeting was that Modi did not attack Jagan directly. He said that the Ministers were competing with each other in corruption but did not speak a single word against Jagan.

Narendra Modi said that 10 lakh houses were allocated for the state. But there is no answer to the question, where are the houses? There is a talk that Narendra Modi’s speech at Praja Galam lacked intensity and it appears that Chandrababu held the meeting to praise Narendra Modi.

In the picture of Siddham vs Praja Galam, Praja Galam was successful slightly in giving an impression that they were ready for the war. In the coming days, both sides will go to people with their respective meetings. Now we have to wait and see how the Siddham meetings would be and how the alliance attracts people.

There is a popular saying which says that people will decide whom to vote for after considering all the aspects. These meetings can be considered as promotions before the film's release. The parties might get some positivity. But people will give the verdict by looking at the real aspects.
