Why is Prashant Kishore all over the place now?
A special chartered plane belonging to a former TDP biggie was pressed into service to bring PK all the way from Delhi to Amaravati.
Come election time, poll master strategist Prashant Kishor is back in the business. Though he has openly claimed that he is no longer with the IPAC, the organization he founded, and that he is no longer in the business of election strategy, he is seen everywhere on the media.
He has already given interviews to top media organisations like India Today and the Indian Express. In these longish interviews, he has given his predictions about the possible outcome of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Interestingly, the IPAC is advising the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, but the opposition TDP has moved heaven and earth to arrange a meeting between TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu and Prashant Kishor.
A special chartered plane belonging to a former TDP biggie was pressed into service to bring PK all the way from Delhi to Amaravati.
Why is suddenly PK getting all the attention despite claiming not to be in the business of election strategy? Sources say that PK does not want to let go an opportunity to grab new business opportunities.
With three states going to polls by the end of 2024, PK wants to grab some contracts for IPAC. He will also advice in his personal capacity to leaders from the Opposition parties in states ruled by the regional parties. Hence the image building, say sources.
Sources also say that the BJP will win the Lok Sabha elections is a no-brainer and that it does not need a PK to tell that. Yet, he is giving interviews right left and centre on the issue of political predictions despite claiming to have exited the election advice space. All this is nothing but business advertisement, say sources.
