Rahul Gandhi's Smart Answer On INDIA Bloc's PM Candidate!
The likes of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and others were present on the stage.
The stage is set for the much-awaited Lok Sabha elections. The parties already swung into action eyeing the elections. The political observers say that the upcoming elections are different from the previous one as the opposition parties want to show their strength. They want to defeat the ruling BJP.
This is the reason why the opposition parties came under one roof to form the INDIA alliance. BJP is clear on the PM's face. Narendra Modi is the PM candidate. The party is confident that he will become the PM for the third term. Narendra Modi has been saying that this time the party would win 400 seats.
While this is the case with the BJP, the alliance has no clarity about the PM's face. There are a few big leaders in the alliance, but no one can clearly say who would get the big chance. The same question was raised before Rahul Gandhi.
The Grand Old Congress Party announced the manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The likes of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and others were present on the stage. Rahul Gandhi was asked about the PM's face of the alliance.
To this Rahul Gandhi said that the INDIA bloc doesn't have any PM’s face now and a decision on this will be taken after the elections. Talking about the elections, the Gandhi scion said that they are contesting the ideological election.
What Rahul Gandhi said is seen as a smart answer by the observers. It is known that the INDIA block saw a few infights earlier. The opposition parties could not come to a common opinion on seat sharing and A few states saw the allies fighting each other.
If the PM’s face is announced earlier there is also a fear of the same scenes repeating. The main idea behind allying is to defeat the BJP and Narendra Modi. If the allies start fighting then the purpose will not be served.
Understanding this, the INDIA block might have said this. It has to be mentioned here that Congress did the same for the Telangana elections too. The CM’s face was not announced earlier. After the result, the CM was picked among the suitable candidates.
