Telugu Actor's Homecoming For AP Congress!

Actors taking the political path to serve the people is not a new trend and has been prevalent for a very long time. We have seen many people following the path. A few leaders went on to become the Chief Ministers and Members of parliament.

Another name joined the list with Telugu actor Raja Abel who appeared in a few popular films joining the grand old Congress party. He joined the AP wing of Congress in the presence of Gidugu Rudra Raju in the Vijayawada Congress party office.

It was more like a homecoming for Raja Abel as he was with the Congress party in the combined state. During the tenure of the late YSR, he was with the Congress. However, he left the party later due to various reasons. Now he is back in the party.

After wearing the Congress party shawl, Raja expressed his happiness and said that he took the party route to serve the people. He cited the secular stand of the Congress party as a big reason behind taking the big decision.

Congress party is not in a good position and his joining can be news to cheer about for the party. Congress has a presence in Congress and the situation is worse in Andhra Pradesh post the bifurcation. The grand old party is yet to bounce back in the state.

Raja is a known name in his community as he has been serving in the Ministries for some time. His image might work for the party and help it grow. Let us wait and see. Moreover, Raja said that he would accept any position the party grants.
