In poll-bound Ramachandrapuram, it's raining candidates in all the three major political parties. The three major contenders – the TDP, the YSRCP and the Jana Sena have at least two strong ticket aspirants, besides several other claimants. What more? These are fighting among themselves. This is giving a tough time to both the party top bosses as well as the hapless cadres.

In the YSRCP, there is a keen tussle between sitting MLA and minister Chelluboyina Venugopal and Rajya Sabha MP Pill Subhash Chandra Bose's son Surya Prakash. Though Jagan has personally mediated and assured that Surya Prakash would be suitably rehabilitated, both the leaders are conducting whirlwind tours of the constituency. This has thrown the cadre into confusion.

In the TDP too, there is a fight for supremacy between constituency incharge Reddy Subramanyam and Patamsetti Srinivas. Many local leaders are opposed to Reddy Subramanyam and feel that he is inaccessible. Srinivas too working hard to improve his contacts in the constituency.

Even in the Jana Sena, there is confusion over who will become the party candidate from Ramachandrapuram. While constituency incharge Polisetti Chandrasekhar is making his own arrangements, former minister Chikkala Ramachadra Rao's close relative Chikkala Dorababu is vying for the ticket. As a result, there is uncertainty in all the three major political parties in Ramachandrapuram.
