Firebrand leader Revanth Reddy who is getting all the applause for leading the Congress in the state towards a thumping victory was picked as the Chief Minister of Telangana putting an end to the suspense. The LB Stadium became the venue for the oath-taking ceremony.
Anumula Revanth Reddy took oath as the Chief Minister of the state making him the second Chief Minister of the divided state. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath.
The Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad was high on josh when Revanth Reddy took oath saying: I Revanth Reddy take oath as the Chief Minister. Fans cheered loudly for their favourite leader on the big occasion.

On this occasion let us go through his glorious journey in politics. He started his days as an ABVP member. But his political career started back in 2001 when he joined the TRS party floated by KCR to support the Telangana movement. After spending a few years in the party he quit.
In 2006 he contested the local body elections as an independent ZPTC member from Midjil mandal. The next year he contested the MLC elections as an independent candidate and won. Later he joined the Telugu Desam Party.
In 2009 he was elected as the Kodangal MLA and he repeated the same stint in 2014 as well. His career saw a big change as he left the TDP after the state bifurcation and joined the Congress party. After losing the 2018 elections from Kodangal, he contested the general elections from the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency in 2019 and won.
A couple of years back Revanth Reddy was appointed as the TPCC Chief. He excelled in his position and took the party to a big win. Now he took oath as the second Chief Minister of the state.
