Revanth Reddy Not Invited For CBN’s Swearing Ceremony?
Now the news is doing rounds which says Revanth Reddy was not invited to the ceremony which is shocking.
Only a few hours are left for the swearing-in ceremony of TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu. The place has been fixed for the occasion and the guests have been invited already. People from movies and political fields were invited already and we can expect big names as the attendees.
Now the news is doing rounds which says Revanth Reddy was not invited to the ceremony which is shocking. Revanth Reddy was with TDP earlier. Despite being a Congress leader he never commented on CBN and always showed his respect.
Recently it was reported that Revanth Reddy called CBN and congratulated him on the win. When asked by the media Revanth said that he would attend the ceremony if he is invited as he wants good ties between the two states. However, it is said that Revanth Reddy was not invited to the ceremony.
While the exact reason is not known, many say that political reasons might be behind this. Congress and BJP are rival parties and they are in opposite alliances. Inviting Revanth Reddy might create unwanted issues in the NDA alliance as TDP supported BJP. In return, TDP was given a few Cabinet berths.
As BJP could not get the required magic figure TDP supported the alliance. Earlier it was reported that the INDIA alliance is trying to reach out to Chandrababu Naidu to seek his support. A few Congress leaders openly asked Chandrababu to demand special status and other issues from the BJP for their support.
When this is the situation in the political picture, inviting Congress leader Revanth Reddy who often targets BJP and RSS might create unwanted issues in the alliance. The Centre’s support is very crucial for the state and TDP is heavily dependent on the support for issues like capital, Polavaram, and growth.
Considering all these aspects Chandrababu Naidu is said to have ignored Revanth Reddy from inviting him. We might get clarity on this tomorrow as CBN will take oath tomorrow.
