Former actress and YSR Congress Party member Roja Selvamani has come forward to condemn the controversial statements made by Telangana minister Konda Surekha regarding the Akkineni family. Konda Surekha's remarks implicated political figures like K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in the personal matter of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce, sparking a wave of reactions.
In response, Roja took to her social media, expressing her disappointment and calling for an apology. She stated that such baseless allegations against a reputed family like the Akkineni’s were unwarranted and deeply disrespectful. Roja pointed out that Konda Surekha’s words have offended not only the family but also the general public who hold them in high regard.
She further highlighted that dragging political figures into personal matters is unnecessary and only leads to confusion and pain for those involved. Roja stated that the Akkineni family deserves respect and privacy, particularly in such sensitive matters.
