Sharmila Confident Of Bringing Lost Glory To Congress!
While she said that she will work hard to bring back the lost glory, it is not an easy task to achieve as there are many troubles that come with it.
The big win in the recent Telangana elections is a massive boost for the Congress party. The party which is banking high on the win kept a special focus on other Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. Weeks after merging the party, Sharmila was given a plum post.
The Congress High Command officially appointed her as the Congress AP Chief. She will now lead the party in the state which will go to elections in a few months. YS Sharmila reacted to the development and expressed her happiness. On the occasion, she thanked the Congress leadership for giving her the position and appointing her as the PCC Chief.
YS Sharmila said that she will work hard to bring back the glory to the party. I will work hard for this and I am waiting for the opportunity to work with the party activists. With the skill and experience of the leaders we will reach the targets, she said.
While she said that she will work hard to bring back the lost glory, it is not an easy task to achieve as there are many troubles that come with it.
The Congress party has lost its cadre and leaders. Andhra people did not forget that the Congress party gave the Telangana state. This is the reason behind the party not having candidates also.
The main fight in the state politically is between the ruling YSRCP and the opposition parties. The Congress is not even in the picture in the state.
First the Congress party should recover and then the cadre should get strong. After achieving this the party should focus on identifying the candidates for the elections.
There is a lot of work that needs to be done and little time is left. In a few months, the state will go for the elections and we have to wait and see what she can do for the party.
There is no doubt in saying that Sharmila's appointment is a big advantage to the party. But the question that arises here is to what extent the advantage will work for the party. We might get clarity on this in a few months.
