As if that is not enough, the Glass Tumbler, which is the symbol of Janasena, was listed under free symbols.

It is election time and the parties are busy with their preparations. Lok Sabha elections and the elections in a few states are due. The political heat has increased. The concerned parties and leaders kept themselves busy with the political activities and campaign as they have limited time.

Ahead of the polls, Janasena faced a big shock. The Election Commission issued the list of parties that are recognised and unrecognized by the body. Janasena party was named the registered party while TDP and YCP were named the recognised party.

As if that is not enough, the Glass Tumbler, which is the symbol of Janasena, was listed under free symbols. This means the symbol can be allocated to anyone. If this happens then it would be a big blow for the party in the elections. With this, the Janasena party might explore the legal options to get the symbol back.

While this is a big shock for the Janasena party it is not new for the party to see such things. For the Telangana polls, Janasena was allocated the Glass tumbler for the seats it contested. There was a big confusion on this as the party was not in action in Telangana. However, the party was given the symbol.

There are a few rules to get the symbol. If the party fails to get at least eight percent of votes or a few seats then it cannot own the symbol that was allocated as it would be listed under free symbols. But Janasena could not achieve this in the last elections.

Janasena faced the first elections in 2019 and failed miserably. The party recorded a cheap performance and won just one seat. Even party chief Pawan Kalyan lost two seats. As the vote percentage was not up to the mark as per the guidelines Janasena often faces the threat. Now we have to wait and see what happens this time.
