Is Sonia Gandhi Seeing Big Dreams For Congress In Telangana?
Telangana faced two elections after the state bifurcation and Congress could not even put up a strong fight in both elections.
The decisions taken by the parties would leave a shocking decision and a devastating impact. The grand old Congress party faced this. Back then, the party approved the bill to bifurcate the state of Telangana. Despite this, the party lost its place in Telangana and has been struggling for a strong zone.
Telangana faced two elections after the state bifurcation and Congress could not even put up a strong fight in both elections. Time flew fast and the focus is now on the upcoming general elections.
The opposition Congress party is also making tall claims that it can come to power and defeat the BRS. Now former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi made some interesting comments and spoke about the dream she has for the pastry as far as the state is concerned.
Veteran Congress leader Sonia Gandhi flew to Hyderabad to take part in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Hyderabad. Addressing the gathering on the last day of the meeting, Sonia Gandhi said that seeing the Congress government is her dream and urged the people to support the party.
Not just that, Sonia Gandhi also announced a few schemes. She said that women in the state would get Rs 2,500 every month under the Mahalakshmi scheme. Gas Cylinder prices will be brought down and a cylinder will be given at Rs 500. Like Karnataka, women will be offered free travel in RTC buses. Farmers and leased-land cultivators will be given financial assistance.
However, what Sonia Gandhi said started a debate on whether she is seeing big dreams. BRS is looking strong and is aiming for this consecutive win. Congress has a few MLAs in the Assembly House. It needs more than a wonder for the party to come to power. Congress has a strong cadre but that is not enough. Leaders should work together and outplay the ruling BRS and BJP to achieve the magic figure.
