Sunil Kanugolu to play key role in Congress candidate selection?

Poll strategist Sunil Kanugolu is fast emerging as a deciding factor in formulating the Congress strategy in Telangana. He and his vast network of ground-level micro teams, are working hard to formulate strategies for the Congress party ahead of the assembly elections to Telangana.
Sunil, whose strategy played a key role in the victory of the Congress Party in Karnataka, is said to be preparing a list of possible candidates and the high command will pick one person from the list. The list is being prepared on the basis of their standing against a set of parameters, identified by Sunil Kanugolu.
He is also said to have identified five key election promises as he has done for Karnataka. These five promises have helped create a positive buzz for the Congress Party and have helped it to unseat the BJP. Kanugolu’s team is said to be getting feedback on a daily basis from its teams working at the ground level.
He is also identifying catchy slogans for Telangana state. In Karnataka, his slogans – 40 per cent government and Pay CM have become huge hits and have helped the Congress Party in a significant manner. Similar slogans and promises are being identified for Telangana also.
