In accordance with Thalapathy Vijay is currently leading in both the Assembly constituencies that he had contested. As of this moment, Vijay is currently leading from both Trichy East and Perambur Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu.

While Vijay winning from both the seats is a massive positive news to his parties, supporters in itself, there is something interesting happening in the background as well.

Current chief minister of Tamil Nadu Stalin, who is likely to work out of the CM office after losing the election is himself trailing in Kolathur constituency in Chennai region.

The anti-incompetency wave in Tamil Nadu is so very severe that the chief minister himself is losing as an MLA well, his son Uday who contested from the Chennai city region is also trailing.

The current numbers are suggesting that TVK is the single biggest party in Tamil Nadu by leading in nearly hundred Assembly seeds by AIDMK is leading in 75. The DMK, which was in power for the last five years is currently restricted to just third position with 45 seats.
