United States, president, Donald Trump has already been going hard against the immigration working population in the country. He has taken it up a notch further with his latest announcement regarding the foreign film policy in the U.S.

Over the years, Telugu films have built a strong market in the U.S. Baahubali earned hundreds of crores, and Pushpa became a massive blockbuster collecting huge dollars.

But things may not be the same anymore. U.S. President Donald Trump has now taken a shocking decision that could directly impact Indian films and other foreign movies released in America.

Recently, Trump announced a 50% tax relief on movies produced in the U.S., which made Hollywood very happy. However, he imposed a heavy blow on films made outside America.

Trump declared that all foreign movies released in the U.S. will now face a 100% tariff (tax). He also mentioned that this rule will be implemented immediately. According to him, this step will protect the American film industry, which is struggling due to rising costs and competition.

Trump also criticized the California Governor, blaming poor policies for pushing filmmakers to shoot abroad and then release movies in the U.S. If the 100% tariff is enforced, ticket prices for foreign films could double or even triple.

This means average American audiences may prefer local films. Still, Trump’s announcement has already drawn criticism, with many saying he is taking away even small joys from people.
