I Opposed Three Capitals Proposal:Vasantha Krishna Prasad!

What MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad will do and what will be his next steps? These are the questions many have for some days. He was denied a ticket for the next elections and this started a debate that he might leave the YSRCP and shift his loyalties to other parties.

In the wake of this, the MLA held a meeting with his followers. Addressing the gathering he made some crucial comments. He said that he could not get the funds for his constituency as an MLA and expressed his concerns over this.

Adding further the MLA talked about the capital row. He said that before the elections he asked Jagan about his stand on the capital and he told him that he is supporting Amaravati as he has a house there. However, Jagan changed his stand after winning the elections.

On the day of tabling the three capitals bill Jagan chaired a meeting and urged the MLAs to support the bill. I told him that the bill would cause damage to the party and even opposed the bill. The MLA even said that I requested to keep at least the Secretariat here.

The MLA said that he tried hard to get funds for his constituency but he could not. Drawing a comparison between Jagan and YSR he said that Rs 100 cr funds were allocated for Nandigama when YSR was CM and in Jagan's regime he could not even get R 1 crore.

The MLA also spoke about his future actions. He said that he will contest from the Mylavaram seat and he is getting invitations from parties. I will announce soon which party I will contest soon, he said.

MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad came down severely on Minister Jogi Ramesh. Alleging that the Minister caused a lot of trouble, he asked how he could contest from the party when the Minister was backstabbing at one end.
