Wedding Season To Rain Gold On Business Sector

The wedding season is the much-awaited season for the families and couples. As the wedding is a life experience the families give their best efforts to see that the experience remains rich. Emotions run high in the families to see the young family members getting married.

The season is the most liked one for the business sector as well given the massive income it generated. The wedding season started earlier last month and would last till December 15. This time the wedding season and the election fever arrived at a similar time.

As an impact of the wedding season, the general elections in a state were postponed for a few days. Fearing that the people might be busy with weddings and ignore the elections, the parties requested the Election Body to postpone the polls and the request was accepted.

The wedding season would see as many as 38 lakh weddings across the country and the business sector would see around Rs 4.74 lakh crore. A trade body predicted the same and said the business sector will see big numbers in business.

Trade body Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said that the wedding season would generate business worth Rs 4.74 lakh crore as 38 lakh weddings would be held across the nation during the same period.

These weddings were segregated by the trade body based on the amount that would be spent on marriages. The suggestions are Rs 10 lakhs, Rs 15 lakhs, Rs 25 lakhs. Rs 50 lakhs and over Rs 1 crore.

The major share of the money generated through weddings will go into purchases of required things like clothes, jewelry, gift items, and clothes. No matter what items are purchased and in what areas money will be spent huge businesses would be generated.
