The much-awaited elections in Andhra Pradesh concluded the other day. The election body made all the required arrangements for the elections. Barring a few incidents, the polling went on peacefully. In some booths, we saw some shocking incidents which grabbed everyone's attention. All the Assembly and MP segments went to the polls.

A shocking incident came to light in the elections where an MLA candidate entered the polling booth while speaking over the phone. He was seen talking on his phone in the booth. The videos of the same are now doing rounds on social media.

YCP Tekkali candidate Duvvada Srinivas entered the polling booth while speaking over the phone. Even while taking the slips and casting vote, he used his phone. While what happened was a big shock, the election staff did not stopping the MLA is another shock.

People wonder how an MLA candidate can do that as the EC rules clearly say no one can use mobile phones. One cannot carry mobile phones in the booths. The MLA candidate not only carried the phone but was also spotted speaking over the phone.

Despite this, he was not stopped by the officers. The MLA candidate was filmed using the phone. The video also shows people filming the MLA candidate using the phone. As the EC takes such issues seriously, we have to see what the election body would say on this and the orders it would give.

This is the second incident that was recorded in Andhra Pradesh. Another YCP candidate from Andhra Pradesh Sivakumar created a sensation by slapping a voter. The voter slapped the MLA candidate back. EC ordered the house arrest of the candidate. The MLA candidate alleged that the voter used objectionable language and hence he slapped him.

While people are yet to forget this, Duvvada Srinivas's incident came to light. Netizens are saying that what happened in the incidents can be seen as an abuse of power.
