YV Subba Reddy's Entry To Make Ongole Politics Intense?

Serving as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman is the dream of many people as they can serve the deity and administer the board and its functioning. Ruling parties get a flood of applications from the aspirants to get the plum post.

But Y. V. Subba Reddy got the opportunity to serve as TTD Chairman now once but twice. He was fortunate enough to serve two consecutive terms as the TDD Chairman. When his tenure was coming to an end he was replaced by MLA Karunakar Reddy.

It is said that YV Subba Reddy has political ambitions and he is busy with this. He is serving as the YSRCP North Andhra regional coordinator and is actively taking part in the activities. YV Subba Reddy is also attacking the opponents aggressively.

Now it is said that YV Subba Reddy is gearing up for electoral politics and he reportedly said he will contest in any seat where Chief Minister Jagan wants if he advises. His comments created a big interest among the political circles as the state will go to elections next year.

Now the political observers say that Ongole politics will get interesting with the possible entry of YV Subba Reddy. Electoral politics and winning as MP is not new for him. In the 2014 polls, YV Subba Reddy contested the elections and emerged victorious.

YV Subba Reddy won the 2014 polls from the Ongole seat. Despite being a winning horse he was not given a chance in 2019 polls. He was made the TTD Chairman twice. If he is given a chance there would be more chances of allotting him the Ongole seat.

If this happens it would be a big blow to Magunta Srinivasula Reddy who is the sitting MP. It is said that he wants his son Raghava Reddy to contest the MP elections so that he can take a back step. Amid this, the debate is going on. Let us wait and see what happens next.
