Mother Dead But No Visa To Travel From USA?

The kind of sacrifices and personal inhibitions that are gone through by the Indian community that has settled in the United States is beyond the measure. This is particularly important in Donald Trump administration due to the prevailing situation.

Now we have the case of an Indian individual named Gautham Dey who had travelled from India to the United States for better employment opportunities and living conditions.

However, Gautham was stuck by a significant personal law as his mother who had been staying back in India had sadly passed away. The entire family was mourning the passing and were waiting for Gautham to arrive in India.

However, Gautham could not travel from the United States to India due to the prevailing visa situation, as there is no clarification on whether the United States authorities would let him back into the country if he comes to India at this point in time.

So this individual has decided to stay back in the United States and could not make it to the final procession of his mother’s last rites. He was expectedly heartbroken about it and shared a big post on social media about how he is unable to be with his mother in the final journey, just due to the prevailing visa situation in the United States.

This is not an individual story of particular individual, but collective problem that is being faced by several Indian people in the United States.
