Shocking: Students Visas Terminated, Given 15 Days Time

The onset of the Donald J Trump administration in the United States has come with its own set of complications and irregularities for the international student community in the United States. In particular the Indian student community, which forms the majority of the student population in the country is taking a beating due to the Trump regime.
Trump administration has now started a new visa termination program and this is sending shivers to the Indian students and also international students who have been studying in the United States.
Apparently, several of these visas are being cancelled without any prior notice to the student or the university. On top of that, the students are being given just 15 days time to leave the country after which they are bound to face legal charges and could potentially face forced deportation.
Around 20 international students and recent graduates from the University of Utah have had their visas revoked, with their records terminated in the federal Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
The revocations were not tied to any protest activity. Instead, the official reasons cited include “failure to maintain nonimmigrant status” and issues related to criminal background checks. This is part of a wider trend affecting international students across the U.S., including more than 80 students in California universities and community colleges.
Many cases were reportedly processed without clear explanations from federal authorities. In response, University of Utah leaders, including President Taylor Randall, have pledged support and are monitoring immigration systems to assist affected students and provide necessary guidance.
