"No Jealousy, Only Happiness": Rajinikanth About Vijay's Political Success

Veteran actor Rajinikanth recently spoke about Tamil Nadu politics and shared his thoughts on actor-turned-politician Vijay. His comments quickly became a hot topic among fans and political followers.

Speaking to the media at his residence in Chennai, Rajinikanth said he was surprised and happy after hearing about Vijay’s political success. He praised Vijay for achieving something very big at a young age in politics.

Rajinikanth said, "At the age of 52, he has achieved more than MGR & NTR. He faced & won against the BJP at the Centre & 2 parties here. It was a surprise filled happiness for me. No Jealousy. Lot of expectations for Vijay. My best wishes to him."

These words from the superstar grabbed everyone’s attention because comparisons with legendary leaders like M. G. Ramachandran and N. T. Rama Rao are very rare. Rajinikanth openly appreciated Vijay’s rise and said he has great expectations from him in the future.

Rajinikanth also clarified that he is no longer active in politics and has stayed away from political activities for many years. He explained that he conducted the press meet because many rumors and criticisms were spreading about his political stand and his friendship with M. K. Stalin.

The superstar said that if he remained silent, people might believe false information as truth. He also defended his meeting with Stalin after the election results and stated that their friendship is beyond politics.

Rajinikanth added that he felt sad after Stalin’s defeat in Kulathur and said there was nothing political behind his meeting. According to him, personal relationships should not always be connected with politics.
